  • Upgrading the entire parking lot, with proper parking facility. The total amount of parking stalls will be 28.
  • New waste lines, provide new domestic water meter and piping for future upgrades to accommodate the new bathroom, kitchen, and wash room demand.
  • The total cost for this phase is $350,000 dollars plus $30,000 change orders and extra work from phase 2.
  • The majority of the work for this first part of the project will be to upgrade the entire parking lot, with proper parking facility. The total amount of parking stalls will be 28 stalls; this has reduced due to the expansion of the Mosque in phase 2 from existing 48 stalls.We will need to upgrade the front sidewalk area on 238 th Street and there will be additional five stalls available as street parking in front of the Masjid.
  • All concrete foundation, retaining wall, slabs, stairs will be poured. Install all future connections to all waste piping and as well for water piping stubbed and capped for Phase II work.
  • Provide new utility connections with the city of Mountlake Terrace . We will run new waste lines, provide new domestic water meter and piping for future upgrades to accommodate the new bathroom, kitchen, and wash room demand.
  • Upgrade storm water drainage system and build a storm water detention vault to accommodate storm water flow resulted from paving the parking lot.
  • Upgrade the electrical power to the building as well as new communication lines. There will be an increase in power demand; so new electrical panels and meter are being added. We will add 2 phone lines and one modem line, with an option to increase lines in the future, or as we need it.
  • Replace all old wooden beams and frames at both existing upper and lower entrances at the existing building.
  • The landscape will be part of this site work, with new flowerbed, trees and some grassery.
  • Provide proper lighting in the parking lot area.

 

The total cost for this phase is $350,000 dollars plus $30,000 change orders and extra work from phase 2. At the Pahse I fundraiser dinner we were able to raise $290,000.
